Now that the dust has settled (and I literally mean settled) and we can officially live in our new cottage, David and I thought this would be a good time to tell you how we feel about our building experience. From the day we first met you and all the along the planning and building process, we had no doubt that we found our contractor. Jim, you have been an absolute pleasure to work with.
You have helped us through this project with patience, kindness and expertise in so many fields....just too many to mention. We were introduced to Phil Woods, who put our vision on paper (another excellent person to work with). You answered our questions along the way and never made us feel like we were inconveniencing you. Your ideas for our cottage and relationships with your sub-contractors has helped to make our place the home we wanted it to be. And for that we thank you!
With fond wishes and many thanks, Sara and David
Jim was our contractor for a difficult renovation to our cottage, including the addition of a large deck, and choosing him was the best decision we ever made. Working with him was a delight. Jim kept us current regarding the process, sending us pictures on a regular basis and discussing and problem solving the inevitable issues that would arise. He was always available by either phone calls, texts or emails and would always respond promptly. Jim takes such pride in his work and it really shows in the final product. We constantly receive compliments on his craftmanship. Jim also provides great “after service”, as once all the work was completed he is always available for any questions and follow up. We will definitely be using JD McCaffrey Construction for any future projects we do.
